Spent Sunday going to some local auction houses which are gearing up for big art auctions this week; Phillips, Bonham’s and Christie’s. Prices starting mostly around $15/$20,000 up to $20,000,000. Lots of big names, Chagall, Kandinsky, Picasso, Rothko, Modigliani and Frida Kahlo among many others. Didn’t see anything I’d buy, even if I had won the lottery last week.
