What a Dick!!! And I don’t mean ‘detective’

You can find the full story on any media outlet I’m sure, and I urge to read it. This isn’t even the worst thing he’s done or said this week (the Reiner murders among others)I’m ashamed that I know people who voted this asshole in a second time!

Woke up to another round of snow this morning. 

It’s beautiful!

 

Saturday

Went downtown yesterday and snapped a few pics. The Ice Skating and the Tree are very nice.

Went through the Chicago Cultural Center, which has been decorated for Christmas. 

There was this exhibit which seemed focused on architecture but also had textiles. Below were replicas of trees made of cloth.

Also saw this sign. Very nice to offer this service to unhoused people in the city.

 

Finally stopped Snowing

It finally stopped snowing this morning and the sun came out for a while. Most sidewalks and main streets are clear but side streets are treacherous.

This is what the snow looked like earlier. It’s been snowing all day, but I haven’t been back out.

 

Thanksgiving Parade

We did it again this year. It was quite cold with a few snow flurries but we had a great time carrying our Jerry Bryant banner down State St. The sidewalks were crowded as chicagoans braved the cold to see the parade in person.

 

China Town

Beautiful day today, so we walked up to China Town.

Lots of people out and about, fun shops and a very good dinner.
