Dog Statues

Here are the new dog statues in Times Square, made from plastic bags.

I think they're pretty cool.

 

Is this necessary?

 How am I supposed to get Gil out for his little walk/bathroom time with this going on outside our door?

Is all this fire power necessary? They appear to just be standing around trying to intimidate people. And their dogs.

Bath Time

The Cute Beast got a little haircut and a bath.

The Met

 Went to the Met over the weekend, looked at few galleries and the new rooftop installation.

Its a slightly curved wall of open bricks.

Above & below is the great hall.

Above & below is the grand staircase.

The description next to the image of this lion calls him ferocious.

I don't see it. 

I think he looks like he doesn't really want to bite the deer and he's feeling sorry that he has to do it.

And in fact, he might just be hugging and licking the deer and the deer is nuzzling him because they're friends.
