Coronavirus Update

I'm sure you've been wondering.... With the closing of museums, libraries, YMCA, shops, restaurants, bars, theaters etc......what the heck have I been up to!
Well, my dog got sick and when my vet never returned my call, I diagnosed and treated him myself. (luckily my NJ vet had given me more of a medicine than was needed at the time, so had enough left over. ) I've also been walking my dog, doing exercise videos in the living room, patched my jeans, worked on my sketchbook, dug into ancestry.com, practiced Spanish on line and with one of my doormen and repaired a quilt that my Mommaw made.
Below are some photos.
Hubby, who has been working from home, and I are symptom free, as are our boy and girl (so far).

Some of the torn squares that I replaced with fabric I had on hand. The new squares don't really match, but c'est la vie.

On a walk I discovered that work is being done in Byant Park. Wonder if this happens every year after they finish with the skating rink?

Walking by the UN, I noticed all the pretty daffodils!
Looks like spring has sprung.

The repaired quilt. Good as new, if not exactly color coordinated.

Cherries, Live Music and a Show

Saw the first cherry trees of spring on a walk the lower east side.

Saw some live music.

The off broadway productions was done as well as could be. I didn't like the movie or the play.

Judd Exhibit

Went to the impressive Judd Exhibit at MoMa.
The perfect large space for such a collection.

Photo of the man himself, back in the day, assembling one of his structures.

"Stitch When I Felt Like It" Project

Completed my "stitch when I felt like it" project.  Made it into a pillow case.
Now just need to get a pillow.

Salsa Verde

I made some salsa verde using the recipe from our cooking class.
It turned out quite good.

French Jazz

An evening concert of French jazz.
                                                   Good show!

Cooking Class

Took a cooking class with the boy. Learned how to make a Mexican meal. Had a great time. Met some nice people and had some good food.
