Put on a talent showcase at KWC this week. Wore a gorgeous dress that I borrowed from a friend. The show was great and all the Japanese ladies thought I looked like I should be at the Academy Awards. Or at least that's what they told me. It was very flattering.

Went to see the cherry blossoms at the Osaka Mint building. There was alot of festival food and stalls also.

KWC Trip

Went on the KWC trip to Osaka's cherry park. The trees really are magnificent! The pictures don't do it justice. The trees were at 100% and the breeze was blowing the petals gently to the ground, like snowflakes. Another great day out!

Himeji Hanami

Another year, another champagne luncheon at Himeji under the cherry trees. Since the hubby couldn't go, the girl filled in for him. And no she did not have a glass of champagne! The food was good, the weather was gorgeous and as you can see the cherries were in full bloom. A great day had by all!

Wakakusayama

Went to Nara for a hike last week. The weather was nice after several days of rain. From the top of the mountain you could see for miles. The cherry trees had not bloomed there yet. The deer were eager to share our picnic lunch.

Shangri-la

Here are some shots from our trip to the Phillipines. We had a fantastic time at the Shangri-La resort. We snorkelled for the first time ever. It was amazing! There were lots of activities to keep us busy and loads of good food to eat.
