March For Our Lives NYC

Went to the "March For Our Lives" protest today. Loads of people there. More than the cops had planned for and they wouldn't let us into the march area for a long time. Finally the people pushed through the barricades and we were off. A peaceful protest on a beautiful spring day..

The Morning After

Went out to shovel the driveway for the last time (I hope) this morning.

 It is absolutely beautiful out there. 

The geese were honking and keeping me company. There was also a couple of deer roaming around. Didn't get their pic. 

The guy in the truck did the street but didn't help me out today. Oh well, I didn't really need help. It was only about 3 inches deep in the driveway this morning after 3 separate clearings yesterday. 

Looks like we got over 2 ft total but I didn't measure it.

Another Angel

And now my neighbor is out there with his snowblower, clearing my driveway again!  So nice!

I just went out to shovel the driveway again and a guy was plowing the street and came up my driveway and cleared it for me in one fell swoop.

Went out around 4 to shovel the driveway.

 Looks like we have about 6 inches so far and still coming down. 

It is really pretty.

Nor'easter #4

Happy Spring! Who could imagine we'd be facing yet another nor'easter?

Well, here goes, it's started snowing. 

Hoping we don't get the 13-17 inches that has been predicted.

Ended fairly quickly

The 3rd nor'easter started this morning with light snow about 7am. By 10:30am it was over. Never really stuck to the roads and continues to melt.

Pfeuff! Got lucky this time around.

And So It Begins Again.....

This storm doesn't seem to be as bad as the other two, but I won't count my chickens.....

New Day

Its 43 degrees and sunny. 

The snow is melting

I Did It!

At 5:30 I noticed the snow was ending so I decided to shovel the drive way. 
Just got done. Didn't even have a heart attack.....yet. 
No pics. Its dark out now. 
No wind. 
Still got power.
I think we survived!

4:30PM

Lots of shoveling necessary, as its over Gil's legs. Looks like about 7 1/2-8 inches. and still coming down.

Somebody has come to dig out our street. It'll be a long while before I try to dig out my driveway.

Snowing quite heavily. Looks like about 3 inches so far.

The storm was just toying with us this morning. Now its getting serious.
