The Met

Went to the Met and looked at two sections, one was done by adult artists and the other by local school kids. See if you can guess which pieces are by kids and which are by adults.  (Don’t zoom in to see the info card that is accidentally included in some.)

The Late Show

Went to the The Late Show with Stephen Colbert yesterday.
The monologues were funny and Jon Batiste and the band were excellent! Always interesting to see how tv shows work behind the scenes.

IFC trip to Bushwick

Went to Bushwick on a trip with the IFC to see the street art in the neighborhood. Fantastic work!
Also stopped into a tortilla factory and brought home some fresh tortillas.

Little Lad

Recent photos of our little lad out on some excursions in his buggy. His legs aren’t working very well anymore but he does still enjoy getting out for a ride!

Lovely Weather

We had nice weather over the weekend and got out side for lots of walking. Encountered 2 dead animals: a bird and a raccoon. The leaves are starting to turn. For anyone watching Hulu’s Only Murders in the Building, you may recognize the building below as it is the facade of the Arconia.

Met Fashion Exhibition

Went to the Met early on a Saturday morning and the line wasn’t terribly long to get into the new fashion exhibition.
Below are a few samples as well as a quilt, that was started in1856 by Adeline Harris Sears, who sent diamond shaped pieces of silk to people all over the world, asking them to sign it and send it back to her. I took a close up of Abe Lincoln’s patch.
