Ireland Day 6

Rental car returned, last day/night in Dublin.

Walked around town, visited the national library, the national museum, saw The Book of Kells, had our last fish and chips dinner and went to a rollicking pub with live music.

Ireland Day 4

We struck out after breakfast this morning, on our way to Dingle.

Saw two rainbows on our way, you can kind of see one below. 

A sandy beach we saw on the way.

Finally made it to Dingle, got checked in to our accommodation and walked into town.

Took a distillery tour and tasting this afternoon.

After an excellent dinner we went to a pub that is a hardware store during the day and pub in the evening. Met two nice fellas there.

 

Day 3

 Day 3: There was road construction in front of the place we were staying. The road workers kindly laid down things to make a surface for me to walk on, as the fresh asphalt was hot and wet. The town was cute, there was an ancient stone circle and

we had a great meal and met some folks. The today Show will be there a few days from now. 

Ireland: Day 2

 Day 2. We stopped by Kells Priory on the way out of Kilkenny, then drove on to Kinsale. A cute town on the coast. It rained nearly all day but it didn’t stop us.
