Sister's Visit

We had a fantastic visit when my Sis came to town for her birthday. Kicked it off with an evening speakeasy trip with surprise burlesque entertainment.

Walked her legs off the next day with a walking tour beginning at the Art Institute, going along the lake to the Zoo and finishing with a lakeside snack and cocktail.

A good time had by all!

 

The next day was a neighborhood garage sales experience, including our girl, followed by a dinner at a Greek restaurant. Later was cake & cocktails and gifts.

Today’s Most Beautiful Rainbow

 

Morel Festival & Starved Rock

 Went to a morel festival today (can’t wait to eat them!). Noticed how close we were to Starved Rock State Park so went there afterwards. A nice little trip with our girl!

Weekend Activities

Last weekend we went to the One of a Kind Show at Merchandise Mart. Had a good time.

Cherry Blossoms

Took a walk down to Jackson Park to see the cherry blossoms.

I did not expect to see so many people! I was able to cut most of them out of the photos.

Took a few extra pics on the way home. It was a nice day.
