Upright Hall Premier

I recently finalized my latest movie called Upright Hall, which featured some of my dear friends here in NJ. We had a great time shooting it.
I put it together and the other night had the world premier and showed it to the gals. Below is their grand entrance on the red carpet and a couple group photos.
After the screening, they surprised me with an academy award for best director!
 What a great group!

Smithsonian Day

Last Saturday was Smithsonian Day and I got free tickets to the James A Michener Art Museum in Doylestown PA. It was pretty good. The building used to be the Bucks County Jail.

Little Deer Nursing

Saw this magical sight the other day in the back yard: a little deer nursing from his mama.

Gil's Book

Finally finished Gil's book. Made a hardcover (repurposed an old journal) and a soft cover. Turned out really nice. 10 Lino cut illustrations of 10 destinations he's been to so far in his lifetime.

Scat

Based on the info in this display at the library, I have determined that the culprit who has been pooping on my porch and sidewalk
is a fox!

Gil's Umbrella

Found this nifty dog umbrella at the thrift shop for $1.
Working out really well. Coming in quite handy with all the rain!

Little Deer

This little deer has taken up residence behind the bushes in the front of the house. He's there off and on, most days. I haven't deduced if he stays there while his mama is gone doing something or if he's all alone,
 but I'm on the case.

Its a little hard to see him through the window screen.

Saratoga

Had a great time with our friends in Saratoga. Went to the wine and food festival, took a private tour of Saratoga and got to spend some quality time with our friends.
Great weekend.
(the pics are all out of order)

No Aribada

I finally got so concerned about my little hatchlings that I decided to dig into the nest and see what was up. I thought maybe the dirt was packed in too hard from all the rain, that maybe they couldn't make their way out. I carefully dug down, layer by layer, imagining that I was an archeologist trying not to destroy what might what lie beneath the soil.
Alas, I found nothing. Not a baby turtle, not an egg, nothing that appeared in the least
 bit turtle-y.
Was she shooting blanks? Did the eggs disintegrate into the earth?
The mystery may never be solved.
