Finally

Our little lad finally got all his staples out! Took him back on Monday and he got the all clear.
Have to take a urine sample back in a month to get it checked out. He's on a special diet now and should be taken out to pee every hour to two hours. But he's baaaaack!

Hike

Friday's hike with the ladies group. A nice crisp but dry day.

Little Lad's Slow Recovery

Took the lad back for stitch removal but alas the infection was still there in one spot. All staples removed but 5-6 more put in. Another 2 weeks to go.

Thanksgiving

Had an excellent Thanksgiving this year. Both kids and sister were here.

We had a party tray, decorated the tree, played some games and opened a time capsule.

The Little Lad

After returning from Chillicothe, the little lad had to go back to the doctor, as his incision seemed to be bleeding more than it should. Sure enough there was an infection. The stitches were removed and staples put in place. More medicines as well as wipes and ointment were included in his recovery procedures. Here he is sporting a pair of diapers because he was still peeing quite a bit and also to keep him from licking it.

End of the family farm

The week before Thanksgiving, we finally made it back to Chillicothe to remove the last of the items being stored at the farm, which was sold a couple months ago. The new owners are working hard to refurbish the place, beginning with the barn and now working on the big house. I hated to sell the property, but I think its in good hands.
