Over the weekend we went to the Lincoln Center World Music Festival, the Phillips Gallery, The Met, and MoMA(where we watched Night Of the Living Dead!).
The Met has colorized some of the statues so you can see what they’d have looked like, in their original form. The Gallery had lots of pieces by different artists, some are pictured below. The Palestinian group was our favorite at the Music Festival but the hip hop group was good too. The pics are mixed up as usual 🥲
Hot Sardines gave a concert at Bryant Park this evening and they were fantastic! Dewitt Fleming Jr did tap dancing. The whole thing was superb!
Finished my quilt last night and washed it this morning. Turned out pretty good I think. Now to rest my sore fingertips!
Took a long walk up to Columbia University to General Ulysses S Grant’s tomb. The skies were overcast on the way up but we forged on, since the weather app on iPhone can never really be trusted. As we neared the tomb itself, the skies opened and it began to pour. We waited it out inside with 3 other people. Pics below.
