Took Gil to the doc last week for his yearly visit. Gave him some xanax this time so he wouldn't try to attack the doc, but it didn't really work. Will up the dose next year. Once I got him muzzled they were able to pull hair out of his ears, clip his nails, check his eyes, take some blood and give him a couple of shots. Turns out the goopy eyes are a result of conjunctivitis. Got some new herbal pill to use with the prozac to help with his anxiety issues. Will keep you posted on the results.
UPDATE: The new herbal pill called Zylkene, hasn't made any difference in the 3 weeks he's been on it. I don't think we'll continue with it when he finishes the bottle.

Book Club
I hosted book club last week. The book was The Orphan Train. So I put the food in a train and put on my over-alls. I thought I should do something extra since I didn't get a chance to read the book. I'm still waiting for it from the library. Oh well.

Another snowy day/ Valentine Mug
Another Nor'easter in New Jersey. I'm really getting tired of all the snow and ice! Maybe this will be the last of it!

Sorry I've left the bird post up for so long. I've been back and forth to my mother's over the past 2 months. She's moved out to Colorado with Sis, so there was lots of work to do to get her packed up and the house ready to sell. In my absence, Gil has gotten something wrong with his eye, where this goopy, greenish stuff is often filling the corner of his eye and making the hair around it stiff. He has a doctor's appointment next week.
