Matisse Exhibit

Went to the Matisse exhibit at MoMA today. 

Liked it. 

 

Bread and Compost

Made some English Muffin Bread the other day and it turned out pretty good. 

Took my food scraps to the compost tent at the market this week and they were giving out compost made from our scraps. 

 

Stabbing

There was a stabbing the other night. 2 drunk guys from the shelter  got into a fight and one stabbed the other. 

Apparently it was non life threatening. 

 

Greening

It’s greening up in NYC! At long last, spring might finally be here. A jaunt through Central Park on the way to an off Broadway play. Stopped in to St Patrick’s for some quiet reflection, then happened on to a protest March for climate change along the way. The play was ok. 

 

Sunday

Easter Sunday was sunny and quite cool. We caught the tail end of the Easter Bonnet Parade on Fifth Ave. Lots of pics below, out of order of course. Afterwards we walked in the Ramble in Central Park. Stopped at Rockefeller Center to see the new roller rink.
