New House

The new house on moving day.

The conversation room and dining room.

Unfortunately for me,  I took a tumble from the truck ramp while carrying a large wire dog cage. Luckily the cage broke my fall. Unluckily, the corner of it rammed into my chest and its terribly bruised and somewhat hard to get a deep breath, cough or stretch my right arm. (no photos because it might be pornographic) It hasn't stopped me from working though.

Family room with tv.

Sounds lab.

The girl and Gil in guest room that she set up.

Moving Day

Moving out and moving in. Took 3 trips with the 16 ft truck and the car. 2 full days. All 4 of us working hard. Not too many arguments

Baby Blanket

Made a little baby blanket for my neighbor who's due on August 13. Had to finish it before we moved.

Previous Trip to Six Flags

Last month the family took a trip to Six Flags and had a nice day out. Used my AAA discount to get a reasonable admission price. Took food and drink in our cooler, so we wouldn't have to spend the exorbitant amount for food in the park. Had to leave my bag in a locker, so didn't get many photos.

Move

Well it seems that we must move from this house that we have been renting for nearly three years. For reasons beyond our control, we had about 3 weeks to find and move to a new place. And by some miracle we have done just that. Started moving in this past Friday and must be out by the 31st.
Wish us luck!
Pics will be posted whenever I get time to take some.

Partridge Family

Have been watching the Partridge family season 1 & now season 2. Remembering how I thought I was in love with Danny during season 1 and David in season 2.  Even saw David at the state fair once and got a pennant with his name on it!! He had the face and voice of an angel!

Terror?

Just got back from taking Gil on his morning constitutional, but it wasn't the usual route!
The end of our street and indeed, the main street of our little town is cordoned off by our police and also cops from the surrounding towns. I blundered right onto the main street and was stopped and told to return home by an alternate route. The first cops that talked to me would not reveal what was going on, but at last I was able to find out. A suspicious package has been found in the little parking area at the end of my street! Will keep you updated as events unfold……
A couple of hours later the police cars all left the scene and there was no evidence of anything having blown up. The only person I've talked to about it was Steve who runs one of the shops and he didn't know what, if anything, was found inside the box. Apparently it wasn't a bomb. So we're all safe here………so far.
In the end, it turned out to be a backpack with some gatorade in it, sitting behind a bush. Seems a guy came and put it behind a bush for some runners who were coming through. He later called the police station and apologized once he found out about the brouhaha that he created. He was told to tell the cops the next time he was going to do something like that. It was some alert citizen who called the cops in the first place. Its our motto here in the New York/New Jersey area: See Something-Say Something.

Gross Thing in Yard

A few weeks ago I saw Gil smelling something in the yard. When I got over to it, it was similar to this thing you see below. I couldn't figure out what it was and eventually forgot about it. Well, its ba-a-ack! This time it was in the mulch pile near the house. Gil was looking at it but not touching. I quickly scooped it up and took it away. Is it guts and intestines? Is it an alien life form? Any ideas? So after I picked it up, I decided to scour the yard looking for more. I didn't find anymore but I did find this little dead mouse out by the green house. Glad I got to it before Gil saw it.
