Pumpkin Festival 2018

This year's Pumpkin Festival seemed smaller than usual. Not as many jack-o-lanterns and the ones they did have, weren't all that good. Below is a sampling.
They had the spooky wagon rides again, a band and there were some scary characters from the Haunted Mill walking/scootering around.
It was a perfect fall evening for it!

Happening in the Back Yard.....

Monday morning, looked out and saw this baby deer getting a tongue bath by its mother. She licked all around its face, neck and shoulders for more than 5 minutes.

Tuesday morning, saw Foxy creeping around the yard before slipping into the weeds.

Oshaberikai

An Oshaberikai program with a traditional Japanese dance demonstration and pot luck lunch.

Wild West Trip

Took a trip out to see mom and sis.

Went on a very interesting tour of the mint.
They gave us a free sample: a penny.

Also went to the Money Museum.
They gave us a bag of shredded up bills.

Napping boy.

Went on a ghost tour.

Got to use some ghost hunting equipment. Unfortunately, we didn't detect any ghosts.

Took an interesting tour of NCAR.

Got loads of information regarding the evidence of global warming. It IS real (for anyone who doesn't believe it)

Not fast enough to get back before the timer went off.

Pfeuff. Made it this time!

Party tray night.

A beautiful day for a trip to the zoo.
