The Move That Wasn’t

 We contacted Nationwide moving and Storage 6 months ago to schedule this move. They confirmed a week ago the arrival time. I was on the phone with a representative just this morning doing the QA at 8:30am. Everything is ready to move, internet stopped, food is all eaten and the car is packed and ready for our drive.

But did the movers show up as scheduled? Nope!

Seems the dumbasses at Nationwide Moving and Storage didn’t schedule it at all!

Last Night at the Met

We went to our last member’s reception at The Met. 

Met some new people and had a very nice time.

Have really enjoyed these evenings.

Will miss them.

Last Saturday in NYC

Went to an off Broadway play yesterday afternoon. It was good. Katey Sagal was in it.  The other actors/singers were great. Since it wasn’t raining, as predicted, we decided to stop by the Emerging Music Festival. Saw two really good acts: Ky Voss and Seramic.

Bryant Park Bingo

Bryant Park Bingo is back!

I went over yesterday evening and just before it started, we got a little shower. It didn’t last long and we started pretty much on schedule.

It was fun even though I didn’t win any games. At least two people were cheating by using more than one board. One of them was sitting right in front of me. 

I can’t wait till next week!

The air in NYC is much worse today than it was yesterday.

It’s dark and smoky outside. Most people are wearing masks again. My clothes smelled like smoke after I got back from running errands.

Moving Again

Get ready for another blog name change.

That’s right, we’re getting ready to move again.

This time, going back to where we started, Chicago.

I was there last week and spent a couple days cleaning before coming back to NYC.
