It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

Walking around downtown, noticing more and more decorations going up.

Its feeling Festive!

Lights are up. Scaffolding coming down. Won't be Long Now!

Saks Fifth Avenue has some dazzling window displays.
A few Below. Can't wait to go back after dark!

Once More to MoMA

Took one more trip to MoMA in case they have to shut down again soon because of covid.

Found some more new art work on the 5th floor.

This set is from the Gerhard Richter exhibit.

The rest are just various and sundry pieces scattered about.

New Statue and then Something Gross

On our early morning walk last weekend, Gil and I saw this truck in the park.
What could they be doing? Cleaning up the park? Putting down mulch?

Nope. They're unloading a heavy statue.

It appears to be a small gorilla.

Not just any gorilla, a Peace Gorilla!

So that's over in the big park.
Now lets a take a look in the small park under our windows.
Yep, you guessed it!!
That gal has puked up some pink grossness and she's just sitting there next to it.
Her friend is trying not to look.
This isn't the first time she's thrown up in that same exact spot. She's making quite a habit of it.
Why not do it the mulch right behind her?
What did she rinse her mouth out with after, you ask? Some more gin of course!

MoMA

Went to MoMA a couple weeks ago and found some new pieces that had been put in some of the galleries. Pics below. En route, saw the tree covered in scaffolding.

This gross one is jars filled with someone's hair (the dark ones)
and skin and fingernails (in the 2 smaller ones).
