Finally a Sunny Day

Finally got a sunny day, so we had a big day out. Walking up to the Met, we noticed the Rockefeller Center tree had arrived.

Several stores on Fifth Avenue have got their Holiday decorations up.

Started out at the Egyptian area of the Met. A fascinating culture. They were so advanced. What happened to people afterwards? Seems like we kind of stagnated.

The blue of these artifacts is still so bright!

Just look at the carving of this dog and the other animals.

A peak out the window into Central Park.

Next stop, the Native American area, since I'm reading a book about Native Americans, The Nightwatchman.

The jacket below is made from seal intestines to make it waterproof.

We got timed tickets for the new exhibit called About Time: Fashion and Duration.
It appeared to be showing how fashion designers just rip off earlier designs. I suppose they are just "inspired" by the earlier innovations.

Leaving the Met, going back down 5th, another holiday light situation.

Now the tree is standing in Rockefeller Center.
