Fall Day in Central Park

Saturday was a beautiful fall day so we decided to walk to Central Park and see if the leaves were changing yet.

There is still a lot of green, but we found some fall color.

It was a gorgeous day.

 

Library Halloween Party

Went to an after hours Halloween Party at the library last night.

There was a dj and dancing in the great hall.

There were authors reading scary stories and viewing of old 16mm horror films.

And costumes galore.

Tim Gunn was a judge for the costume contest.

I Love You, Dad

6 years ago today my dad died. I didn't get to be with him when he passed away but (believe it or not) he paid me a visit a few months later (as he promised me he'd do). He told me he was having so much fun and he was happy. He must be having so much more fun now with two of his sisters in heaven too.

He always called me every other week, so we could chit chat. And when I travelled, he always kept me on his map.
He was the best dad a gal could ever have. I miss him every day.
