Catching Up

Finally got my internet! 

So I just loaded some pics and will try to do some catching up.

 A couple of statues in the garden at the UN

Times Square.

 Some vegetables I got at the weekly farmer's market.

Found a cute park on an evening walk.

A Little Exploring

Did some exploring of our new area last Sunday. It was a hot day, but we walked around some neighborhoods and went to the MET. Found a good Indian restaurant near our place.

Gil enjoys walking around the neighborhood, but also enjoys going further afield in his buggy.

Tuesday morning we got up early and drove to the apartment, to wait for the movers.

As soon as they unloaded, I took Gil for a quick walk around the block.

He seemed to enjoy all the smells.

Back at home, he made himself comfy while I continued to organize.

He found his football.

Lots to put away.

All tuckered out!

Made my way to the Amish Market down the street to get something for supper and guess what I found!!

Turns out my stove is one of those induction things.

This is the pile of pots and pans that don't work on it.

Looks like I need new cookware!

Out for an evening stroll about town.

Packing Day

The Movers came on Monday to pack and load the stuff going to the apartment. For some reason they brought this enormous truck. They didn't even fill it half way.

Gil seems pretty chill about it.
