Polar Vortex

The polar vortex has finally reached the east coast. Got a bit of snow this afternoon and the temps have dropped drastically. It didn't deter Foxy. I couldn't believe she was just sitting there for such a long time in the cold wind. Hope she gets back to her nice warm den.

Cabinet

Finally got my Mother-In-Law's cabinet cleaned up, brought into the house and filled up.
She had kept all her treasures and curiosities inside. I put her's back in and added some of my own.

Recent Car Troubles

A week or so ago, right before I got my glasses, I ran into the side of the garage as I was pulling in. I scraped the edge of the doorway and got this white paint on my car. I forgot to take an after pic, but I got some scratch remover stuff and buffed it out. Now its good as new.

Hubby also had some car trouble but nothing as easy as mine. He was coming home from work and a deer ran out in front of him. There was no avoiding her and he hit her. He didn't wreck, but just came driving right on home. The deer slid across the hood to the side of the road and its believed she got up and ran into the woods. Probably not terribly hurt, (We hope!) although she did leave a little patch of hair behind. The car is now in the shop.

Glasses

Went to an eye doctor last week because I finally got tired of wearing 2 and 3 pairs of reading glasses at a time.
Picked up my new specs today.

Elvis

Went to an Elvis concert at the library last weekend.
He was okay. He had a nice suit.
He was good with the crowd who mobbed him after the show.

Heading Home

Finally, on our way back home.

Having our Christmas morning.

Later that evening we had a nice dinner out celebrating our 32nd wedding anniversary.
