Took a family trip to Charleston SC for Christmas. Day 1 was driving 3/4 of the way there. After about 8 hours of driving, we stopped over in North Carolina for the night. Next day, we drove the rest of the way to Charleston, got checked in to the hotel and took a quick walking tour of downtown while we waited to go pick up the girl at the airport.
Recently recovered from bladder stone surgery, Gil rested comfortably on the way down.
