Civil War Reenactment in Clinton

The boy and I went to the Mill in Clinton today, where they were having a civil war encampment or something. We saw all sorts of things and talked to loads of re-enactors about cooking and sewing and doctoring and shooting and singing. We both got to shoot a pistol and we both made a candle. The boy got to use the quill and ink in the old school house. It was a nice day out!

He's How Old????

Our little boy turned 18 on Tuesday!! How did that happen? Could it really have been that long ago that he came into our family on a Sunday morning at 11:30 am? His big sis skyped in and we had his favorite dinner, a home made ice cream cake and opened his presents. Then his Aunt skyped in while he opened her present. A nice celebration, I think.
