Puzzle
Here's the 1,000 piece puzzle my mom and I had been working on since before Thanksgiving. I finished the final few pieces after I got back.
Mom's New Place
Last week I took mom back out to Colorado where we found a very nice assisted living home for her, about a 3 minute drive from Sister's place. Everybody there is really nice and I think its really going to be a great new living arrangement for her. I know its better than she had when she lived by herself. And now she'll be safe and have people around all the time as well as plenty of activities to participate in. Below are some pics from the Christmas party they had last week.

Club Holiday Luncheon
My ladies club had our holiday luncheon this week. The venue was gorgeous. The entertainer, Torkova,
was fantastic as usual and the food was exquisite!
A super day spent with friends!
Community Christmas Tree Lighting
Went to the town Christmas Tree Lighting. Sang some carols, visited the shops and watched the tree light up. Its not quite as big as the one in Rockefeller Center, but its nice.
Thanksgiving
Had a nice Thanksgiving. Kids were here. Had a nice meal, played some games and had a great time together.

Snood
Another knitting project. I made this snood for Gil to keep his ears and neck warm. He seems to like it.
Princeton Trip
Went with the ladies club on a walking tour of historic Princeton. The day started out foggy, but the sun came out and it was a lovely 68 degree day. Learned a lot and had a nice lunch at The Tap Room.
A great day out!
Mother/son matching hats
My craft group had a challenge this month that was pretty cool. We each put some materials that we no longer wanted into a bag, then chose bags at random (not getting our own). My bag contained a lot of items, but the one that I chose to use was the ball of yarn. I made a hat for me, then had enough left for a smaller hat, so I made one for Gil. Can't wait to wear them outside together.

Finger & Flu Shot
Cut the end of my finger opening a metal can yesterday. Ouch!
Hubby got a flu shot and the next day had this horrible bruising.
