Basket

Took a basket making class Friday night. Turned out pretty good I think.

ikebana

 Cut some cherry and peach branches from trees in the yard and made 2 ikebana arrangements.

Cherry Blossoms

Went with some of my Japanese group to Newark to see the cherry blossoms.

They were at their peak. Very beautiful. Afterward we had a nice lunch at a Japanese restaurant.

NJ Vineyard

Found a vineyard nearby and decided to go for a tasting last weekend. The wines weren't bad. We had the cheese plate while tasting. Turns out they have a live band on Saturday nights on the patio, so we got a pizza, bottle of wine and enjoyed a lovely evening.

Easter Egg Hunt

Colored a few eggs so the boy could have an Easter Egg Hunt.

Birthday Boy

The boy had a birthday this week. Today we took him on a birthday trip to Ellis Island and Lady Liberty then out to a fine lunch.

Last Flower Arranging Lesson

Had my last flower arranging lesson last week. Everyone said I got the award for most improved. I started out so bad , it wasn't hard to improve! 

Quilt Show

Hubby and I were out exploring last weekend and happened onto this little quilt show at the Peddler's Village. Then we discovered this Pub, serving up the Yuengling in cute glasses.
