Friday was the town pumpkin festival. Folks from town carve pumpkins and then they're set up along Main St and are judged. There is also a people's choice winner that we get to vote on. There are zombies and a wagon ride. There is a haunted village at the mill. We didn't go because its too scary. Still, a fun night out.

Weekend trip to NYC
Went to Openhouse NYC over the weekend and saw some cool places, free of charge.
Below are a few photos of JP Morgan's private library, built between 1902 & 1906.
The National Arts Club, a private club in the city. The structure was built in the 1840's and is a national historic landmark.
The Grand Masonic Lodge of New York.
We got tired of waiting in line and left.
Lunch at an Indian Restaurant where I had a fabulous Masala Dosa.
Some construction project on Minetta Lane. Whats the big deal here?
Judson Memorial Church, built from 1888 to 1893 was designed by architect Stanford White.

Possum Man at Comic Con
Went to Comic Con this weekend with hubby and the boy. Had a fantastic time! All the costumes were either amazing, interesting or downright duds! Not sure which category my opossum man costume fits in to. I had a guy tell me he liked it and another guy take my photo, but that's all the acknowledgement I got. There were a few recognizable stars there, but poor Danny Glover (as you can see from the photo below) couldn't scare up anybody to pony up the $40 to get get his autograph and photo. His line was empty!
