A peacock couple was spotted strolling through town.

County Fair

Big day at the county fair: music, exhibits, animals and more.

 A nice day out.

Found a skull in the front yard. My best guess is, a cat. Not sure.

Added it to my collection.

Venus Flytrap

I got a Venus flytrap to get rid of this pesky fly. You can see it taunting the flytrap. Eventually the flytrap won. No more fly.

Best Birthday Ever!

Sleeping soundly Friday night around midnight I was suddenly awakened by the best surprise ever! Hubby had arranged for both kids to come for the weekend. It was a complete surprise!

We had a wonderful weekend all together.

Also a big thank you to my Sis, Mom, my 2 Aunts and my neighbors who all sent good wishes.

I am truly blessed.

Lino Cuts

Took another Lino cut workshop. Finished two images.

Yet Another Turtle

Looked out the other day and saw a turtle in the backyard. Thinking it might be the turtle mama, I rushed out and uncovered the nest of eggs. Got closer to the turtle and realized it was not the mother at all! It was a whole different turtle!

I covered the nest back up with the milk crate.

Note the white bump on this hand. 

It had something like a snail riding on its shell.

This turtle did not lay any eggs. Just seemed to be passing through.

We are definitely on some sort of turtle highway.

Will be looking for White Knuckle to come back through.
