Jewelry
Took all my dad's UPS award pins to the jewelry shop and showed them to the lady. Decided to make 3 necklaces of a branch using the diamonds from the pins. One for me, one for my sis and one for my daughter: all branches from my dad's tree. Gave the boy one of the pins since he's not much of a jewelry wearer.
Sad Day
Lost my good friend and thrift shop partner to cancer this weekend.
She will be missed very much by the whole community.

Latest Project
Below is my latest project. I forgot to take some before photos until I already had it cut up. I had a fake fur coat that I got some time ago at an estate sale. I decided to cut it up and try to make a throw. It was more trouble than I expected, but here is the finished project.
I think I'll get more use out of it this way.
