Took a walk to Central Park to see what the fall color situation is. We were not disappointed. There were many wedding parties out getting photographed.

New York City
Just so there is no confusion, New York City is NOT a ghost town.
Foot traffic and car traffic is back. People are going out to restaurants and bars, to museums, to shops and parks. I've also seen tourists out and about.
Nearly everyone wears a mask, inside and outside, we follow the guidelines and beat back the virus when we were the epicenter.
No, things aren't back to pre-covid conditions, Broadway is closed, caberets and night clubs are closed. Many small businesses are closed and may not reopen. But we are far from a ghost town!

Injection
I gave Gil his injection today. He was having a nap, sleeping pretty hard and I stuck the needle in and pushed the plunger. His skin sort of flinched, but he didn't even wake up. Pfeuff! Hope all the rest of them go so smoothly.
Paper Dolls
The challenge for the craft group was to make something (anything) of a figure (any kind of figure).
So I made this paper doll set of Gilbert and his wardrobe.
All the outfits are paper remakes of his actual clothes.

Vet Visit
The little lad had a visit with his vet today. He got a vitamin B12 injection and an injection to help ease the arthritis. Blood test results and fecal sample results to come. Will increase his food a bit to keep up his weight and they put these things on his nails and pad so his legs don't slide out from under him. After the visit he was completely tuckered out.
