Quilt

 Finally got my my New York City Story quilt finished. Pics are out of order (naturally) but you’ll see the front, the back and a closer view of each row. It’s not perfectly done, none of my projects ever are, but I enjoyed making it and it will be a reminder of our first couple of years here.

NexGen National Finals

Went to the NexGen national Finals this afternoon. All 10 were very talented. At the end we got to vote. Be both voted for Mya who was 2nd runner up in the women’s category. 

 

Folk Art Museum and a steak

 Stopped in to the folk art museum after a walk through Central Park. To my surprise they had some of Henry Darger’s work, one of my favorites.  On the way home, spotted this enormous steak above a restaurant.

Fantastic Spring Day

 A beautiful, sunny day today. Temps in the mid 60’s. Took a walk to Central Park. Loads of folks enjoying the sunshine. Noticed that the zoo has a new animal…a dinosaur.
