Snowy Day

Started the day with a few flurries and chilly temps. Got a bit heavier later in the day and started to stick!

 

Fall Party

 Our new neighborhood had a fall party today. Kids games, adult games, food, drink, pumpkins and a history/tree tour given by a local man. Met a few neighbors and enjoyed the day.

TLC Volunteer

 After finally finishing the training and getting my background and medical checks, I had my first shift as a volunteer at the hospital yesterday. It went pretty good. I managed to not get lost (at least for very long) and I visited with about 6 patients. I think I’m going to like it.

Made it back

We made it back from our trip, safe and sound. We had such a great time getting together with everyone.

Below are some of the thousand plus windmills in northern Indiana. Then traffic once we finally got to town. Then after we got the car cleaned out, we walked over to the lake to stretch our legs and get a little exercise.

 

Day Two

 More visiting with more family and friends on day two. Again, had such a great time catching up. We need to do this more often.

Took a drive out to see the old farmhouse  Looks like it’s well cared for.

Also a walk around the Hopewell Culture Mounds on a nice fall day.

Road Trip

Road to Ohio to meet up with family and friends. 

Had such a nice time. It’s been too long.

Got my Covid booster and my flu shot today!

 

Show

Went to a show yesterday, destined for Broadway.

It was pretty good. Great singing and dancing. Acting was good, sets were fantastic and the costumes were excellent.

And we got upgraded to orchestra seats!

 

Nice Fall Day

We were downtown and decided to walk up to Lincoln Park. I took some photos along the way. We stopped in to see the lions at the zoo. They were all out. We watched the dad canoodle with his oldest boy and two aunts were play fighting. Afterwards, went to a British pub.
