Forgot to post these from last weekend, so here they are now. Went to an artist’s talk at the Art Institute then walked along the lakefront on a gorgeous end of summer day.
Expat mom leaves Japan after nearly 4 yrs. to begin a new adventure living in New Jersey, then moves to NYC 7 yrs later. But then moves to Chicago.

Sunday Wander
Sunday, we went to the Jane Addams Hull House Museum, which was very interesting. Afterwards we walked back a different way and came upon Union Station, which was a cool building. Then we happened on to a festival in Greektown.
Taste of Chicago part 2
While downtown we explored a new area and saw these cool stained glass windows on the tallest church in Chicago.
We stopped at the bar in the train station on our way home.
Then later saw a play called “East Texas Hot Links”. It was very well done.
