The Winter Show

The Winter Show is back at the Park Ave Armory this year. Had a great time at Connoisseur’s night. Went to some interesting talks about provenance and dinnerware. Also had a wine tasting of three excellent wines from Olé & Obrigado. And all for a good cause: East Side House.

 

Another Quilt

Finished another Kawandi quilt.

 

Sony Hall

Went to a Blues Show at Sony Hall on Friday. Opening act was a great young blues man from Georgia called, Jontavius Willis. Headliner was Ronnie Earle. A really good show. 

 

The Rubin Museum

 Went to the Rubin Museum of Himalayan Art last night for an after hours, free Friday fun, with a DJ in the cafe. First time in this museum, it was quite interesting.

The Met

 Went to member morning hour this morning  saw some interesting exhibits: cubism, trompe l’oeil and Mayan art.

I was surprised at how much I liked the Mayan art!

Christmas

 Both kids were here for Christmas! Had a great time together. Went by too fast!
