Easter Egg Hunt

Our neighborhood had an Easter Egg hunt yesterday. We filled a dozen eggs with candy and went into the park to hide them. Three squirrels made off with three of the plastic eggs! Also I found and disposed of a dead squirrel corpse in the middle of the hunting grounds. Gross.

Went to a Program at the Art Institute that was interesting and then went in search of the tooth of John the Baptist, on display. Found the tooth (pictured below) and some other interesting  works of art.
The cow and horse in the one below are mesmerizing.

Saint Lucy and Agatha each have an interesting back story to go with the weird things they are holding on their trays.

Went downtown to check out the parade and the green river. Afterwards walked up to the zoo.

Stitch Book Challenge



I found this 100 day stitch book challenge on line. You’re supposed to spend 15 minutes a day, stitching for 5 days,  on 1 page. Then move on until you’ve completed 20 pages. At the end we’ll sew jthe pages together into a book. It’s a fun project. Below are the pages I’ve done so far. In no particular
