Bird

Hubby took my car this morning, so just now I went out to the garage and found this bird sitting in the garage floor. S/he is completely intact, but frozen stiff. The boy thought we might could bring it back to life if we warm it up slowly, so I cleared off the windows of the green house and took it out there. Its warmer than the garage with the sun coming in the windows. Will let you know what happens.

Another Snowy Day/ Movie Critiques

Another snowy day here.

 Have seen 3 movies recently.

Anchorman 2: Loved it. We loved the first one and this one is just as good if not better!   

 The Wolf of Wall Street: Some excellent acting, lots of good lines but too long, too much sex, too   many drugs, too many curse words, too long speeches. Save this one for dvd.

                            American Hustle: Excellent acting, lots of good lines and scenes. 

Christmas Puzzle

Finally finished the Christmas puzzle, a scene of Rockefeller Center with skating and the tree. Now time to start the new puzzle that we got as a gift!

Anniversary

For our 27th wedding anniversary we went to NYC and saw a play, then had a nice dinner. According to the internet, the gift for year 27 is sculpture, so I made hubby this nice cheese sculpture of himself.

 Looks like another string of lights went out on my tree. It snowed last night. After 3 days of above 60 degrees F we didn't think we'd have a white Christmas, but we do. Merry Christmas everyone!

Sentimental Gift

I received  a package today from my aunt that was so special and so sweet, I'm still crying my eyes out over it.  She had gotten hold of some of my dad's sweatshirts and had pillows made. She sent me this one and also a t-shirt (which I am wearing now). An exceptionally sweet and thoughtful thing to do. I've got the best family ever!
