4 Leaf Clover

Found the first four leaf clover of the season on a walk with Gil.

Longwood Gardens

Took a trip to Longwood Gardens yesterday. It started as a farm in 1700. After a while the brothers began planting trees. Later their heirs were not interested in keeping it up and the trees were about to be cut for timber in 1906. The land was bought by Pierre Dupont primarily to preserve the trees, but he later decided to make it into a place that he could entertain his friends.
The day was predicted to be rainy and overcast but the sun came out on our way there and we had a fantastic day out!

Wine Club

Ready for Thursday night NE wine club with my aunt in Iowa.

Jewelry

Took all my dad's UPS award pins to the jewelry shop and showed them to the lady. Decided to make 3 necklaces of a branch using the diamonds from the pins. One for me, one for my sis and one for my daughter: all branches from my dad's tree. Gave the boy one of the pins since he's not much of a jewelry wearer.

Sad Day

Lost my good friend and thrift shop partner to cancer this weekend.
She will be missed very much by the whole community.
