On Smithsonian Museum Day we went to the Mt Vernon Hotel Museum and Garden, which is surrounded by buildings on the upper east side. Amazing that its still standing rather than being torn down to make room for another high-rise.
Expat mom leaves Japan after nearly 4 yrs. to begin a new adventure living in New Jersey, then moves to NYC 7 yrs later. But then moves to Chicago.
