The Met had members evening on Monday, so when hubby finished work we went up to see what it was all about. It was very nice. Not all sections were open, but we enjoyed the ones that were. There were carolers at the Christmas tree and a gingerbread castle being built. It was cool to be there after dark and not crowded. We met an interesting older gentleman who gave us a few history lessons on New York society. I have snapped pics of various depictions of baby Jesus before, but this was the first time I’d seen him wearing his yacht club sweatshirt!
