Cleaning Frustration

 

I’ve moved in to some pretty dirty places before, but this one takes the cake!

I’ve been cleaning nonstop for two weeks.

The previous owners appear to have been a family that never cleaned up a mess. If they dropped something on the floor, it seems they just left it there. I’ve found, paint, glue, gum, black grease, stickers, cat pee, melted candy and some unknown stains.

And I still can’t get the sticky greasy filth off the kitchen cabinets. I’ve got this beautiful new countertop and when I got to open a door or drawer above or below it, I have to pry my fingers off!

I don’t know what to do, short of sanding them down and restaining them. Arghh!
