Day Three

First full day in NYC. After a delicious breakfast with our boy, we took a train into Manhattan and first went to The Met.

We looked at the Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening fashion exhibition and I have proclaimed it a dud. Some pics follow.

Note spiders on above jacket and roaches on outfit below.
Shells. A dress. Ugly

I liked the title of the exhibit below, although the art itself was nothing to write home about.

On the rooftop.

The painting above is interesting because the woman had to sit for the artist 6 different times. And this is the best he could come up with? Look at those hands!!

Above is the park that we used to look out on, from our old apartment. Saw 2 people we recognized.
Above is Grand Central Station, always a favorite of mine.
Above is Bryant Park where we spent many a lovely evening listening to some sort of music.

Above and next few pics below is an exhibit at FIT, about statement sleeves. Nicer than the clothes at the Met.

After FIT we walked to The Whitney Museum to see their Biennial. Some of the art was ok. Some not.
