Sunday we went to several buildings during Open House Chicago. It was a beautiful day to walk around outdoors.
The Columbia Yacht Club was on a big boat,
That used to carry passengers and was also able to cut through ice.
1North Dearborn is an older building that’s been completely renovated. We got access to the rooftop and employee lounge.
At the Federal Reserve we saw the lobby and the money museum.
333 South Wabash is a skyscraper called Big Red. We went to the 19th floor to see an empty floor and the views. Then on the second floor food court, Budlong was giving out free sandwiches, fries and Coke.
At the Chicago Symphony Center we went to the 9th floor for the view, went into a private box for a view of the hall and heard the civic orchestra string quartet.
