Wooly Worm Winter Prediction

I've been seeing a lot of wooly worms out and about. Below is what the Farmer's Almanac says about the wooly's prediction of winter weather. According to the ones I've seen, we're set for a mild winter!

This is the legend: The Woolly Bear caterpillar has 13 distinct segments of either rusty brown or black. The wider the rusty brown sections (or the more brown segments there are), the milder the coming winter will be. The more black there is, the more severe the winter.

These are some of the Wooly Worms I saw this week.
