Bull

I've been working on this painting of a bull for several months. He's been various colors, had various head sizes and back grounds. You can see the progress below.

Started it at home, putting on a background and colors for the bull.

Worked on it with a teacher at an informal painting group.
Put the trees in the background.

At home, added hair and tried to work on the stump that he's standing in front of.

Lightened up his nose.

Turned the stump into a path.

Tried to put the leg in, that would have been behind the stump.

Added more darks.

Took out some darks.

For some reason, made a purple clownish nose.

Tried to lighten the nose and make eyes bigger.

Made the head bigger.

Ruined head completely and changed color of the legs.

Realized he has no ears and 3 front legs.

I think I got rid of the third leg, but the head is too big.

Reduced the head size and began adding ears.

Making the mouth and eyes less sad.

Filling out the ears.

Added head hair with a piece of rope instead of a brush.

Replaced head hair using a brush.

Tried adding flowers but looked lame.
With help of a different informal group with an art teacher, I fixed up the back ground.
Finally......
I think.......
He's finished......
