Sunday's Adventure

Sunday was a little cooler. We headed west to check out Riverside Park and to
see what we might discover along the way.
First up, the hydrangea's are blooming.

Lots more places are boarded up.

Police seem to have Times Square blocked off.

Several blocks of Broadway are closed to vehicle traffic so people can easily walk and social distance.

Finally made it to Riverside Park.

Greeted by Eleanor Roosevelt at the park entrance.

We decided we like Central Park better so decided to walk through it on our way back home.

Once in Central Park I had an encounter with this cheeky squirrel.

He climbed over the little fence and gave me a few close-ups.

Then he started getting to close and I had to hurry away.

Leaving the park, we got involved in a peaceful protest for a little while, keeping our social distance of course.

Once we got back home, we found another peaceful protest going on in front of the United Nations campus.
