Fall Fun

This weekend the boy was gone to a party, so the hubby and I took our other boy for a hike on a lovely fall day. We went to a nature preserve that we hadn't yet explored. It started out  with a wide paved path, which became a wide dirt path, which became a narrow, grassy path with a snake hiding to one side. Gil was enjoying the day but I insisted he not walk in the weeds with the snake, so I carried him some of the way. He likes being carried. You can tell by how relaxed he looks in the picture. He also likes riding in the car. Sometimes I think he enjoys the car rides more than the hikes. The leaves are beginning to turn and the colors are
pretty.
