Gil and I took a little nature hike this week and happened upon this little turtle. He was cute, sunning himself in the middle of the gravel path. I don't know if he chose to sit beside the leaf as a bit of camouflage, but it worked, as some other people walking by, didn't even notice him. Gil and I both enjoyed the outing.
